Neeraj Chopra wins a silver medal in the men’s javelin throw at the Paris 2024 Olympics with a season-best throw of 89.45 meters, becoming the first Indian track-and-field athlete to secure medals at consecutive Olympics.
His performance was overshadowed by Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan, who set an Olympic record with a throw of 92.97 meters and wins Gold.
Despite a challenging final, including a no-throw in his first attempt, Chopra’s achievement places him among an elite group of Indian athletes with multiple Olympic medals, further solidifying his legacy in athletics.
At Present India wins 1 Silver and 4 Bronze.
