Commodore Ajay Yadav took over as Naval Officer-in-Charge West Bengal

In Change of Command Ceremonial Divisions held at the Naval Base Kolkata today, Commodore Ajay Yadav took over as Naval Officer-in-Charge West Bengal and Commanding Officer INS Netaji Subhas from Commodore P Sasi Kumar, VSM

Commodore Ajay Yadav, an alumnus of National Defence Academy, Pune, was commissioned into the Indian Navy on 01 Jan 94. He is a ‘Missiles and Gunnery Specialist’, a graduate of Defence Services Staff College, Wellington (TN) and has persued Higher Command Course at Army War College, Mhow. He has Commanded INS Prabal and was Divisional Commander of 222(K) Division.

During a career spanning over three decades, he has tenanted various Operational, Staff and Instructional assisgnments. Prior present assignment, he was Directing Staff at Higher Command Wing of Army War College, Mhow. Upon taking over, Commodore interacted with Ships company and motivated them to continue the good work and align with principles of Discipline, Integrity and Professional Competency. He also emphasised on the role each individual plays towards ensuring National Security and contributing to Nation Building.
