17 Agniveer Aspirants mentored by the Indian Army successfully clear the Agniveer Recruitment Process

17 local Agniveer aspirants, mentored under the guidance and expertise of Indian Army, have successfully cleared the Agniveer Recruitment process held over a period of nine months. All these 17 participants were felicitated by Indian Army in a ceremony held at the Red Shield centre for wellness and excellence popular as “Manipur Super 50 Classes” in Bishnupur on 05 Oct 2024.

Responding to the requests of ex-servicemen and local residents, the Indian Army organized a comprehensive course for 101 local Agniveer aspirants to prepare them for the Agniveer Common Entrance Test (CET) from 18 February 24 to 18 April 24. All participants appeared in the CET held in April 2024. Of the 101 aspirants, 38 successfully qualified and were eligible to appear in the Agniveer Recruitment Rally for mandatory physical and medical tests. Unfamiliar with the dynamics of these rallies, the aspirants approached the Indian Army for guidance.

In response to this, the Indian Army launched a nine-week training program to further prepare candidates for the recruitment rally. A total of 58 aspirants including 37 of them who had qualified for the CET earlier and 21 additional local aspirants joined the program. This initiative emphasized on physical and mental preparedness along with pre-medical tests equipping candidates to meet the rigorous demand of the recruitment process.

The outcome of this program was remarkable, as 35 out of 58 aspirants successfully cleared the mandatory tests at the rally and further 17 aspirants out of these 35, successfully made it into the merit list and will now join the folds of Indian Army as proud Agniveers.

The initiative is part of the Army’s broader mission of community development and nation-building, proving that with the right mentorship and guidance, young individuals can rise to meet any challenge.
