India defeated Bangladesh by Seven wickets

India triumphed over Bangladesh in the first T20 match, winning by seven wickets at New Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium, Gwalior on Sunday.

India won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Bangladesh score 127 runs, bowled out in 19.5 overs.

Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 27 off 25 balls and Mehidy Hasan Miraz contributed 35 in 32 deliveries for Bangladesh.

India chased down the target with ease, scoring 132 runs for the loss of three wickets in just 11.5 overs.

Hardik Pandya played a pivotal role, score 39 just 16 balls, finishing the match with consecutive boundaries, including a six. This victory marks India’s lead in the three-match T20I series.

Arshdeep Singh takes 3 wickets for just 14 runs for India and declared player of the match.
