On 13th Nov 2024, Additional Director General (ADG), BSF Eastern Command, Kolkata Ravi Gandhi came to Manipur, on a four day visit, to take stock of the prevailing security situation and to review the operational preparedness of Force in the wake of the recent escalation of violence in Manipur.
On arrival, ADG BSF (EC) called on the Chief Secretary, Adviser (Security), Director General of Police and Addl DGP (Law and Order), Manipur and discussed the prevailing security scenario in the State.
On 14th November 2024, ADG BSF (EC) visited BSF Company locations deployed at various places in Manipur.
During the visit, ADG BSF (EC) interacted with BSF Officers and troops deployed in Manipur and appreciated their relentless efforts & contribution in maintaining Law & Order and further motivated them to carry out their duties relentlessly and with utmost professionalism.
The ADG BSF (EC) also interacted with Officers of Assam Rifles, Police and Distt Civil Administration.
