In a remarkable display of skill and determination, Arshiya Das from Tripura has emerged as the champion in the Women’s Under-19 category at the prestigious Tata Steel Chess India Rapid and Blitz Tournament. The event, which commenced on November 13 and runs until November 17, has attracted top chess talents from across the country and around the globe.

Arshiya’s victory is particularly noteworthy as she faced tough competition from several seasoned players.
