Bengal’s Governor Dr.C.V Ananda Bose’s unwavering commitment for nation building is really exemplary

The celebrations to mark the commencement of Third Year in Office of the Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal Dr. C. V. Ananda Bose (G3) started with a Tree Plantation programme in the Raj Bhavan lawns.In sync with “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative of Prime Minister, Dr. Bose distributed saplings to the esteemed dignitaries, participants and under-privileged children.

A great step towards a greener tomorrow:

On 23rd November the Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, along with other dignitaries and many students, planted trees on the historic grounds of Raj Bhavan. This initiative symbolizes a strong commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability.

On that day Governor, Dr. C. V. Ananda Bose was felicitated by the heads of the Central Government organisations, namely, Indian Museum, Victoria Memorial Hall and EZCC.

Director, Botanical Survey of India handed over the sapling to the Governor for plantation in presence of heads of the institutions, including Indian Museum, Victoria Memorial Hall, EZCC and other Officials and dignitaries.Dr. C. V .Ananda Bose then interacted with children and planted a sapling.

After that Dr.Bose attended the Exhibition on ‘The People’s Governor.A Journey to the Heart of West Bengal’ presented by Indian Museum and Victoria Memorial Hall with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. HG then walked through the exhibition.

On a noble gesture and humanitarian ground he distributed prosthetic limbs to beneficiaries at Raj Bhavan that day. This initiative reflects his unwavering commitment to supporting the differently-abled and empowering lives.
Symbolic inauguration of the Painting Fiesta featuring school students was done by Governor of West Bengal on the theme ‘Apna Bharat Jagta Bengal’.

As part of the grand celebrations a colourful cultural programme was also organised at Raj Bhavan. Two of HG’s books – BREAK AND BREAKTHROUGH and GROUND ZERO GOVRENOR – were released by the eminent dancer Smt. Mamata Shankar who in her Keynote Address lauded HG’s literary skills and sterling humane qualities.

Eminent personalities lauded HG’s people-centric activities during the previous two years in office.
Cultural programme was presented by different troupes.

HG felicitated distinguished personalities for the contributions to society in diverse fields.

Dr.Bose also felicitated his team for their efforts.

In short,this long day event was a great initiative by Governor’s office.
