A job fair aimed at providing second career opportunities for the ex-servicemen (ESM) community of West Bengal will be held on *Friday, 29th November 2024, at Army Camp Salt Lake, Kolkata-91. The event, organized by the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR)*, will serve as a platform to connect ex-servicemen with leading employers from the public and private sectors.
*Registration for the event will be open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.* All interested candidates are required to carry their Ex-Servicemen Identity Card (ESM I-Card), along with five copies of their CV or bio-data, complete with photographs, to enroll in the fair.
This initiative will facilitate direct interaction between job-seekers and employers, offering a hassle-free recruitment process. Ex-servicemen attending the fair will have access to a diverse range of job opportunities, including positions in *Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)*, corporate organizations, and more. Employers will benefit from free access to a skilled talent pool of ex-servicemen, known for their discipline, reliability, and leadership abilities.
The event is entirely free of cost for both candidates and participating organizations. The Directorate General Resettlement aims to create a streamlined process where beneficiaries can explore second career opportunities, ensuring a smooth transition to civilian employment.
