A Nation is united only when there is emotional integration amongst its people and not mere geographical integration. In its effort to bring about the much desired emotional integration of the people in this remote part of the country, the
prestigious Gajraj Corps of Indian Army conducted a tour for the youth of North East with an aim to give an exposure to the rich heritage, culture and the way of life of our brethren living in the other part of the country.
In a heartwarming gesture, Army embarked 18 youth from Mandala, Phudung, and Rupa on a pilgrimage to the spiritual heartland of India and Nepal.
From the sacred Ganges ghats of Varanasi to the serene Buddhist sites of Bodhgaya and Lumbini, this 8-day journey under Operation Sadbhavana was more than just a tour. It was a soulful connection to ancient civilizations, a bridge between cultures, and an inspiration for a brighter future.
Witnessing the rich tapestry of India’s heritage, these young hearts are now ignited with a newfound sense of patriotism and a desire to serve the nation.
In the pursuit of fostering communal harmony and societal cohesion, the Indian Army, under Operation Sadbhavana, has embarked on a transformative journey, leveraging infrastructure development as a catalyst for positive change.
