As part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts, Assam Rifles distributed sports items, including two footballs, two volleyballs, and two volleyball nets, to children at the Sangaikot IDP Camp in Churachandpur district on 30 December 2024.
This initiative aims to provide recreational opportunities, offering a sense of normalcy and promoting mental and physical well-being among children affected by ethnic violence in the region.
The distribution event saw active participation from Assam Rifles personnel and local community members, bringing joy to the children and strengthening the bond between the security forces and the local population.

ASSAM RIFLES ASSISTS CANDIDATES WITH MOCK TEST FOR TERRITORIAL ARMY RECRUITMENT AND SSC GD 2025 EXAMS IN CHURACHANDPUR
On 31 December 2024, Assam Rifles conducted a mock test for candidates appearing in the upcoming Territorial Army (TA) Recruitment and SSC GD 2025 written exams at Veng Village, Churachandpur District, Manipur.
The mock test was organized to familiarize the aspirants with the exam pattern and boost their confidence. A total of 33 candidates for the Territorial Army Exam and 8 candidates for SSC GD 2025, including 6 female aspirants, participated in the session.
Through this initiative, Assam Rifles aims to provide the youth with the knowledge and tools to succeed in competitive exams, empowering them to pursue rewarding careers in defence and public sectors. Assam Rifles remains committed to inspiring hope and building a better future for the youth, even in challenging times.
