On the occasion of Armed Forces Veterans Day 2025, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) and all ranks of Gajraj Corps paid tribute to the invaluable contributions of Indian Armed Forces esteemed veterans. The celebrations highlighted the Corps’ unwavering gratitude and respect for the veterans who dedicated their lives to the service of the nation.
The event included a solemn Wreath-Laying Ceremony to honour the sacrifices of the veterans. This was followed by informative lectures on welfare and medical schemes tailored for veterans, along with interactive sessions to address their concerns and suggestions.
In his address, the GOC emphasised the crucial role veterans can play in social service and community development, urging them to lead initiatives that contribute to societal progress. He extended heartfelt gratitude for their selfless service, which continues to inspire the nation.
Similar events were organised at Tamulpur, Darranga, Mangaldai, and Chaprakata, ensuring widespread participation and recognition of our veterans’ legacy.
