In yet another success in its crusade against smuggling activities, Assam Rifles, recovered 25 Cases of Foreign origin cigarettes worth ₹ 32.50 Lakhs (Rupees Thirty-Two Lakhs Fifty Thousands) from the General Area Jail Veng, Champhai district on 25 Jan 2025*. The entire consignment has been handed over to Customs Preventive Force, Champhai for further legal proceedings.
