Eastern Railway Women’s Welfare Organization (ERWWO), Sealdah is involved in a range of philanthropic activities which includes welfare activities for the benefit of Railway employees, their families and the community at large. As a part of that noble endeavour, ERWWO/Sealdah, under the dynamic leadership of Smt Gunjan Nigam/President, runs a honorary Primary School “Chahak Academy at Sealdah to spread education amongst underprivileged and poor children.
Chahak Academy, run by ERWWO/Sealdah, held its annual sports day today at Sealdah DRM sports ground. Fifty two energetic students participated in the event.
The students competed in a variety of events, including races, ballon race, relay race, etc. The winners of each event were awarded medals and certificates by president ERWWO/Sealdah Gunjan Nigam.
The annual sports day is an important event for Chahak Academy. It’s a day when the students can come together and celebrate their love for sports. The event also helps to promote physical activity, inclusivity, healthy living and mental peace.
In her concluding speech, Gunjan Nigam stated that, we are very proud of our students for their enthusiastic participation in the annual sports day and we look forward to holding it again next year.
Chahak Academy annual sports day was a resounding success. The students had a great time competing in the various events. The event also helped to promote physical activity and healthy living.
