General Upendra Dwivedi, COAS, undertook a joint sortie along with Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, CAS in India’s Light Combat Aircraft, LCA, Tejas at Bengaluru today. This is also the first instance of two service Chiefs to have flown together on an indigenous fighter aircraft.
Indian Army is committed to fostering Atmanirbharata, that empowers our nation to thrive independently and the sortie highlights the hands-on approach of the armed forces leadership in engaging and recognising the resources that strengthen national security.
