Acting on specific intelligence of presence of cadres in general area Dingku Road, Imphal East district, Assam Rifles and Manipur Police launched an operation. A through search resulted in apprehension of two cadres. On initial questioning the cadres expressed their allegiance to People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (Progressive) PREPAK (PRO).
Similarly, in an intelligence-based operation launched by Indian Army and Manipur Police in general area Kameng Sabal Village, in Imphal West District, Manipur, resulted in apprehension of four cadres and recovery of five pistols, ammunition and war like stores. On initial questioning the cadres expressed their allegiance to KCP (PWG).
