Sadbhavana Tour For Children of Kathua District Flags off for Chandigarh and Delhi

On 20th February 2025, Indian Army’s Gurj Division flagged off a National Integration Tour for 25 Children hailing from remote villages of Bani and Lowang in Kathua District, Jammu and Kashmir. The Tour was kicked off with a thrilling experience of military equipment display including tank ride.

Organised under Operation Sadbhavana, the children will visit various iconic landmarks in Chandigarh and Delhi over the next 9 days. The tour aims to create awareness amongst the youth from this remote region and promote national integration, education and development in the region.

The children will visit iconic landmarks like the Rashtrapati Bhawan, National War Memorial, India Gate and Qutub Minar, gaining valuable insights into the country’s progress and history. This initiative is part of the Indian Army’s efforts to foster national pride and responsibility among the youth. The Sadbhavana tour has received an overwhelming response from the local community, with the children eagerly looking forward to this enriching experience.
