Assam Rifles conducted a medical camp at Pangaltabi village in Kakching district, Manipur, on 26 February 2025 under Operation Sadbhavana Project.
The medical camp was conducted in coordination with medical professionals from District Hospital Thoubal and Medilane Foundation.
The initiative aimed to provide essential healthcare services to the local community, with a team of specialist doctors offering consultations in pediatrics, psychiatry, gynaecology, general medicine, dentistry, ENT and orthopedics. The camp prioritized senior citizens, pregnant and lactating women, and children, ensuring they received necessary medical attention. Additionally, attendees were educated on hygiene, sanitation and preventive healthcare. In addition to provision of medicines and pathological services to over 460 locals.
The medical camp received a positive response from the locals. Assam Rifles remains committed to delivering healthcare support to remote regions, earning appreciation for its efforts in improving community well-being.
ASSAM RIFLES FLAGS OFF NATIONAL INTEGRATION TOUR FROM TENGNOUPAL TO DELHI-DEHRADUN UNDER OP SADBHAVNA
Assam Rifles organized a spirited flag-off ceremony for the National Integration Tour (NIT) from Tengnoupal to Delhi-Dehradun via Kohima under the Operation Sadbhavana project at its headquarters in Pallel, Kakching District on 26 February 2025.
The event unfurled with a warm welcome speech, followed by an address from the commanding officer, as well as enthusiastic remarks from students and teaching staff. Attended by dignitaries, Assam Rifles personnel, school staff, students and guardians, the ceremony was marked by enthusiasm and a sense of hope.
The 28 participants, 17 boys and 11 girls, aged between 15 to 21 years were briefed on the tour’s objectives, which aims to celebrate India’s rich heritage and promote unity in diversity. Cultural performances, including traditional dances and patriotic songs, added vibrancy to the occasion.
The fourteen-day tour will provide students with a unique opportunity to explore the National Capital, New Delhi, and the scenic landscapes of Dehradun, rekindling national awareness and renewed integration.
