Gurez Premier League 2025 Final Match was conducted by Army with a great zeal and enthusiasm.16 ASSAM Regiment organised it at Dawar in Gurez.
Total 16 Teams of this picturesque valley took part in the Tournament.
More than 500 Civilians including ladies, Girls, kids and youth of Gurez witnessed the final match and cheared for both the teams.
Markoot team Batting first scored 91 Runs and got defeated by Dawar by 08 Wickets.
Man of the Match trophy went to a youth of Gurez , Irfan who scored 46 Runs.
Best Bowler Parvez Shrikh took 10 Wickets in the tournament while another Gurez boy Parvez Ahmed Scored 106 Runs .
Winners of GPL 2025, Dawar was awarded with a cash prize of 25000 INR.
Brigadier C Bharathan, Station Commander 109 Infantry Brigade, Colonel Ganesh Singh Pokhariya of 16 Assam, other Senior Army officers and civil dignitaries were graced this joyful cricket tournament.
