ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISED FELICITATION CEREMONY FOR CANDIDATES SELECTED IN TERRITORIAL ARMY

Assam Rifles organized a special felicitation ceremony for seven candidates from Ukhrul and Kamjong districts who successfully cleared the Territorial Army recruitment examination. Accompanied by their proud parents, these young individuals were recognized for their dedication, perseverance, and commitment in joining the Indian Army and serving the nation. The event was not just a celebration of their achievement but also a moment of immense pride for their families and the entire community, showcasing the potential of youth from these remote regions in contributing to national security.

Assam Rifles played a crucial role in supporting these candidates throughout their journey, providing guidance and mentorship during the pre-recruitment training at Shangshak. This initiative reflects the commitment of Assam Rifles to empower the youth of the Northeast. The felicitation not only celebrated the success of these candidates but also inspired other young aspirants from Ukhrul and Kamjong to pursue their dreams with the same determination and dedication.

ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISES HOLI CELEBRATION, STRENGTHENS BONDING WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

Assam Rifles organised a vibrant Holi celebration at Sehlon village, Chandel District, Manipur.

In a beautiful display of communal harmony, Assam Rifles, organised a colourful Holi celebration at Sehlon village in Chandel District, Manipur. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of 174 attendees, including village chiefs, eminent personalities, and locals from neighbouring areas. Through this initiative, the Assam Rifles once again demonstrated their commitment to strengthening community ties and fostering peace.

At its core, Holi signifies the triumph of good over evil. The festival commemorates the victory of devotion and righteousness, inspiring individuals to embrace positivity and harmony. The celebration at Sehlon echoed this sentiment, as people from different walks of life came together, setting aside differences and rejoicing in the spirit of togetherness. The event was filled with joyous activities, including fun games that brought smiles to participants of all ages.

PARTICIPANTS OF NATIONAL INTEGRATION TOUR ENGAGE WITH DIGNITARIES

National Integration Tour organised by Assam Rifles formation under Spear Corps for 17 boys and 11 girls from Manipur, continued its journey in Delhi. The tour undertaken as part of operation Sadbhavna, enabled the participants to widen their horizons and provided them an unique opportunity to interact with senior officials of the Indian Army and experience the cosmopolitan life of a metro.

On 11 March 2025, the participants had an interaction with General Officer Commanding (GOC) Delhi Area, followed by an immersive Delhi Haat visit and a Metro ride, offering insights into the capital’s cultural diversity and modern infrastructure. The tour then commenced for its next leg of the journey to Dimapur.

Reaching Dimapur on 12 March 25, the team explored the city before heading to Kohima on 13 March 25, where they had a special interaction with the Honourable Governor of Nagaland, Shri La. Ganesan, who encouraged the children to pursue their dreams and work hard towards achieving it.

The tour provided participants with exposure to India’s military heritage, governance, and cultural diversity.
