In a heartwarming conclusion to the National Integration Tour, Assam Rifles welcomed back 17 boys and 11 girls from Manipur on 17 March 2025, at Pallel. The tour, conducted under Operation Sadbhavana, was a resounding success, offering participants a unique opportunity to explore iconic places in Kohima, Delhi, Dehradun, and Dimapur. The highlight of their journey was an unforgettable interaction with the Hon’ble President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where they were inspired by the nation’s rich history and heritage.
The participants also had the privilege of meeting with the Hon’ble Governors of Uttarakhand and Nagaland, as well as senior Indian Army officials in Delhi and Dimapur. These dignitaries engaged in meaningful discussions with the students, encouraging them to pursue their dreams and work diligently towards achieving their goals. The experience left the children motivated and eager to contribute to nation-building in the future.
The flag-in ceremony was a vibrant celebration, featuring a session where students shared their experiences, followed by a captivating cultural program and the presentation of mementos. This event symbolized the essence of “One Nation, One Heartbeat,” bringing together seventy attendees, including teachers, students, and parents. The initiative, aimed at strengthening national unity and patriotism, provided invaluable exposure to India’s diverse cultural heritage, fostering a deeper sense of national pride among the participants.
