Lieutenant General Ram Chander Tiwari, GOC- In- C, Eastern Command visited Indian Army and Assam Rifles formations in Manipur and reviewed their operational preparedness.
The Army Commander Eastern Command inspected the combat enablers fabricated in the formation, interacted with the troops, complimented them for their professionalism, high morale and commended them for their readiness to meet contemporary & future challenges.
He interacted with the Governor of Manipur Shri Ajay Bhalla and discussed the overall security situation. They also discussed aspects related to strengthening cooperation and ensuring security of the people of Manipur.
