I’ve been reading various posts after the Pahalgam terrorist attack. What I’ve understood is that most of the intellectuals have an IQ lower than the room temperature in Kashmir, and their morals lie at a level deeper than the ground water level in Rajasthan.
Knee jerk reaction to every Islamic terrorist attack isn’t the solution to the problem. The main culprit behind this attack is the Pakistani Army, but mostly, the on ground perpetrators are the “popcorn” muslims who start exploding as soon as they are placed upon the “Islam is in danger” frying pan, while the flame is fuelled by the Muslim Clerics!
Let the Central Government decide upon the course of action (which should be a disproportionate response in the present scenario).
This is an act of war, there is no doubt about it.
Yes, it’s an intelligence failure, but in a place like J&K, IB doesn’t work the way it works in other part of the country, all thanks to the local support factor there!
India can either be an India, or a China.China is perhaps the only country which has curbed the menace of Islamic radicalization by identifying the root cause of the problem, ie, the outdated Islamic ideology. Since we are “civilized” and “secular” to the core, let us discuss about some other solutions:
Stop generalising terrorism with phrases like,”terrorism has no religion”! It always had one, Islam, at least in India. Acknowledge the root cause of the problem first!
No one is asking you to sever your ties or pick up a fight with an Indian Muslim near you, or hold them accountable for everything that’s wrong with the religion he/she follows. Just stop trying to be politically correct everytime and call a spade a spade, even if it hurts a few around you. Just identify the terror/Islamist sympathizer near you and maintain a healthy distance from them, as they are of no use to you (or mankind) whatsoever.
Stop handing over the dead bodies of killed terrorists to their families. If a terrorist has no religion, how is he/she given funeral rites as per Islamic rituals? Just pour kerosene over their bodies, and burn them like a rabid animal is disposed after its death. Do not let them not have any dignity even after death. The dead bodies of these scumbags do not deserve any respect/dignity/respect. As simple as that!
Launch a manhunt for every sleeper cell and terror sympathizer.. They will be hiding in civil areas, mosques, markets etc. They cannot be reasoned with or reformed, they just need to be shot/encountered/ hanged. There will be some collateral damage, stop pouring your tears and hearts out when it happens! Every war comes at a cost.
Close every Maddrasa and Islamic teaching institute with immediate effect. The filth taught at such places is one of the major factor in generations of young minds getting radicalized. Transfer all the students to regular schools/colleges. Let them pursue modern education and not the filth associated with any one particular religion.
Teach young school students about various acts of Islamic terrorism in modern history, Kashmiri pandit genocide, numerous terrorist attacks on our home soil, about the attack on parliament and its mastermind, Afzal Guru’s hanging. Teach the mediaeval history with more focus on the our local and regional heroes, and not just Mughals and Islamic rule. A nation which doesn’t know its history, has no future!
Anyone who tries to provide intellectual cover to the Islamists and tries to garner sympathy for the religion as a whole (students, professors, lawyers, politicians, celebrities, journalists etc) should be put behind bars and kept there to rot for the rest of their lives. Screw up the intellectual cover and let the filth be exposed in open and then dealt with a iron rod. Stop watching movies having Pakistani actors, and music shows/concerts featuring Pakistani artists.
As a citizen, make sure your money isn’t going into some Pakistani’s pocket. Stop this “music/art/sports has no boundaries” shit.
It definitely has, and if you think otherwise, you are most welcome to open your pants and perform across the LoC. You will definitely be given a hero’s welcome on return (if you survive your stint).
