On June 3, 2025, Assam Rifles launched a three-week pre-recruitment training program at Pallel Garrison, Kakching District, for aspiring candidates preparing for upcoming SSC and Agniveer recruitment rallies.
A total of 40 youths from various tribes across Manipur will be imparted the training.
This comprehensive training program is aimed at empowering youth from remote regions by enhancing their readiness for careers in the armed forces. It covers all vital components of the recruitment process, including documentation verification, online registration, physical fitness training, medical checkups, and academic coaching for the written examination.
By equipping local aspirants with the necessary skills and guidance, the organization continues to bridge gaps in access and opportunity, inspiring the next generation of armed forces personnel from the Northeast.
ASSAM RIFLES HOSTS VIBRANT CYCLING RALLY IN CHANDEL TO MARK WORLD BICYCLE DAY
Assam Rifles organized a spirited cycling event in collaboration with the Chandel Cycling Club on 03 June 2025 to commemorate World Bicycle Day.
Set against the lush landscapes of Chandel, the rally attracted enthusiastic participation from local youth, cycling Enthusiasts and security personnel.
The event aimed to raise awareness about sustainable transportation and physical fitness, promoting bicycles as an ecofriendly and health conscious mode of travel.
Cyclists pedalled through the scenic terrain, embodying themes of unity, environmental responsibility and community spirit.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commandant of Assam Rifles highlighted the significance of such initiatives in fostering stronger civil military ties and encouraging a healthier lifestyle among the public.
With a total of 40 cyclists participating the rally was a resounding success, bringing the spirit of World Bicycle Day to life and reaffirming Assam Rifles’ ongoing commitment to community welfare and green initiatives.
