Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Dhubri today to assess the on-ground situation and review law and order.
During his visit, Dr. Sarma chaired a high-level meeting with the Director General of Police, the Additional Chief Secretary, and other senior officials of the state administration. The meeting focused on evaluating the prevailing circumstances and devising strategies to prevent any further escalation.
The Chief Minister also engaged directly with local residents and key stakeholders to understand their concerns. He reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and normalcy in Dhubri district.
To ensure stability, Dr. Sarma announced stringent security measures, including strict action against those attempting to disrupt public order.
