In a vibrant celebration of creativity and talent, Chitrani Academy of Maligaon organised a painting competition to encourage children’s interest in the world of art. The event, held at the Riverside Club, witnessed enthusiastic participation from over a hundred students from the local area.
To ensure a fair and engaging experience, participants were divided into three age-based groups, allowing young artists to showcase their imagination and skills according to their levels. The atmosphere was filled with colours, creativity, and excitement as children poured their hearts onto paper with brushes and crayons.
At the conclusion of the event, certificates and prizes were distributed to all participants in recognition of their efforts and to motivate them for future artistic pursuits.
The event was organised to mark the foundation day of Chitrani Academy, making the occasion even more special. The celebration saw the presence of several esteemed guests, including Ward Councillor Kallol Chakravarty, Debashish Bhattacharya, Taraprasanna Mukherjee, and Pomi Bhattacharya, along with other respected dignitaries who encouraged the children and appreciated their artistic expressions.
It is worth noting that Disha Sahani, a student of Chitrani Academy, has recently made the academy proud by winning an award at the All India Painting Competition held in Odisha.
