The Indian Army, in collaboration with the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Pensions), Prayagraj, will be organising a two-day Defence Pension Resolution Programme titled Raksha Pension Samadhan Aayojan on 27 and 28 June 2025. The event will be held at Suryodaya Auditorium, Vijay Durg (erstwhile Fort William), Kolkata, and will commence at 0900 hours on both days.

This significant initiative is jointly coordinated by the Additional Directorate General Personnel Services (ADG PS), AG Branch, Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Army), and PCDA (P), Prayagraj. It aims to provide a platform for Ex-Servicemen (ESM), their dependents, widows of Armed Forces personnel, and retired civilian employees of the Ministry of Defence to have their pension-related grievances addressed in person by competent authorities.

Senior officials from PCDA (P), Prayagraj will be physically present during the event to examine and resolve pension anomalies, verify documents, and provide clarification on pension matters. The direct interface with concerned officials is intended to facilitate faster grievance redressal and provide assurance and clarity to the pensioner community.

All eligible pensioners and stakeholders from the three Services—Army, Navy and Air Force—are cordially invited to attend the programme. Those with long-standing or complex pension issues are strongly encouraged to submit their grievances in advance for prompt processing. Grievances may be forwarded directly to PCDA (P), Prayagraj or via email at *esmhelplineba@gmail.com)*. This will enable prior verification of records and smoother handling of cases during the programme.

To ensure a smooth and inclusive experience, special arrangements have been made for senior and infirm pensioners. Electric Vehicles (EVs) will be available at both designated entry points—Shivaji Dwar (erstwhile George Gate) and Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Dwar (South Gate)—to facilitate easy access to the venue.

The Indian Army remains committed to the welfare, dignity and continued support of its veterans. Raksha Pension Samadhan Aayojan is part of the ongoing outreach efforts aimed at acknowledging the service of our veterans and ensuring that their post-retirement concerns are addressed with empathy, urgency and respect.

All veterans, widows and dependents are requested to attend and benefit from this welfare initiative and help disseminate this information within their networks.
