Though CMLC is a yearly affair but due to COVID restriction it was held after a gap of two years.Last CMLC meeting was conducted on 20 Feb 2020 at HQ Bengal Sub Area.
CMLC meetings are an opportunity to iron out the issues between the Armd Forces and the Civil Administrations. The issues discussed are predominantly of land related matters and Ex-servicemen welfare issues.
Senior officers from Armd Forces headed by GOC, Bengal Sub Area and Chief Secretary, Government of West Bengal along with its various departmental Secretaries were part of the meeting. Issues raised by both sides were addressed appropriately and were agreed upon to resolve it in a time bound manner.
Exchange of mementoes followed by a lunch was organized to conclude the event.
