Imphal:
N Biren Singh led Manipur cabinet approves to conduct Autonomous District Council Elections in the State including four new districts- Kamjong, Tengnoupal, Pherzawl and Noney for which required steps will be taken up by the authority concerned.
The Manipur Cabinet also approved, among others, setting-up of State-of-the-Art Multi-Speciality Cancer Institute under DBFO (Design, Build, Finance & Operate) Mode in JNIMS Campus, Imphal and inclusion of 9 (nine) different employments as Scheduled Employments under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 and fixation of minimum rates of wages for the employees.
