Momentum North East 2023 organised by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, NER Chapter will start today at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra, Panjabari Guwahati. Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Guwahati will showcase the theme 8 years of Seva, Sushasan, Garib Kalyan and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by photo exhibition in this event.
The exhibition by CBC will showcase various photo panels on developmental schemes and initiatives and achievements of 8 years of government. Apart from that some photo panels on the freedom fighters of Assam will be displayed at the exhibition.
Governor of Assam & Nagaland, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi will inaugurate the event. The inaugural function will be joined by Col. Saurabh Sanyal,CEO & Secretary General PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Shri Oinam Sarankumar Singh, IAS, Commissioner, Industries and Commerce Department, Manavendra Prartap Singh, IAS, Managing Director, Assam Industrial Development Corporation Ltd.
The objective of the event is to work towards interventions for building partnership and networking platform for different stake-holders, harness the potential of the region, business opportunities available and the scope for investment and growth. Momentum North East 2022 aims to provide opportunities for local youth, women, NGOs and development agencies to interact with the national level institutions, industries, experts and officials.
Various performances dance, drama, quiz, extempore speech are slated for the three-day event at the CBC stall. All the three days will present cultural programmes – folk songs and folk dances depicting the culture and tradition of Assam. The Cultural Artistes of CBC will also perform various dance forms and musical programmes in the event.
The inaugural session of the event shall be held at Sri Madhabdev International Auditorium, Kalakshetra on 20th Jan 2023 from 11:00 AM and the exhibition stalls shall be open to visitors from 20th to 22nd Jan 2023.
