Exercise Cope India is a long-standing bilateral field training exercise focused on enhancing US – Indian mutual co-operation by building on existing capabilities, aircrew tactics and force employment.
The exercise has evolved to incorporate subject matter expert exchanges, air mobility training, airdrop training and large-force exercises in addition to fighter training exercises.
A part of Cope India 2023 was held at Air Force Station Arjan Singh, Panagarh from 1o Apr to 21 Apr 23. This edition of the exercise involved three C-130s and one C-17 of USAF along with three C-130s and one C-17 of Indian Air Force.
The exercise showcases US & India’s efforts and commitment to a free and open tndo – Pacific region.
