The Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Chief Minister of Sikkim, Prem Singh Tamang and took stock of the situation in the wake of the unfortunate natural calamity in parts of the Sikkim. He has also assured all possible support in this situation.
Modi also prayed for the safety and well-being of all those affected.

In Sikkim flood at least 14 people have died and 102 others, including 22 army personnel, have been missing.
Eleven bridges in Sikkim have been washed away and more than 22,000 people has been affected, the state government has said.
Near about more than 3,000 tourists from various parts of the country, were reported to be stranded in different parts of Sikkim
