Dr. Abhijit Dutta Showcases Pioneering Physiotherapy Research at World Congress in Dubai

Dr.Abhijit Dutta, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Paramedical Sciences at Assam down town University , took center stage as the keynote speaker at the esteemed 9th World Congress on Physiotherapy, Physical Rehabilitation, and Sports Medicine held in Dubai.

His lecture, titled “Effectiveness of Core Stability Exercises Versus Plyometrics Training for Dynamic Balance in Football Players with Ankle Instability: A Comparative Study,” not only shed light on groundbreaking research conducted at Assam down town University but also emphasized the university’s commitment to advancing knowledge in physiotherapy.

Co-authored by Reuben Lalhmingliana and Dr. Mantu Paul (PT), the study showcased in Prof. Dutta’s keynote address stands as a testament to AdtU’s dedication to pioneering research in the field of physiotherapy. The research explores the comparative effectiveness of core stability exercises and plyometrics training in enhancing dynamic balance among football players with ankle instability.
