In a significant stride towards bolstering employment opportunities, jointly the District Mission Management Unit of Cachar, Karimganj and Hailakandi of the Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Government of Assam, orchestrated the highly anticipated Job Mela 2023. Held at the sprawling Police Parade Ground in Silchar on December 15, 2023, the event aimed to bridge the gap between job seekers and potential employers.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including the President of Cachar Zilla Parishad, the CEO of Cachar Zilla Parishad, the District Development Commissioner of Cachar, the District Project Manager of ASRLM Cachar, and other notable figures.
