Acting on specific intelligence of likely presence of person who escaped the incident in Leithao on 4th December .
Assam Rifles launched a search operation on Yangkhul Kheti, Shaibol and rescued him. The individual, Laishram Rajesh Singh S/o Laishram Nageshwar Singh was found in an extremely weak & famished condition.
He was immediately given first aid food and carried to the Assam Rifles Post at Shaibol. After medical care and rest , the individual fully stabilized and was handed over to Police authorities.
