The Australian Consul General, Kolkata, Mr Hugh Boylan paid a courtesy call on the Governor of Meghalaya, Phagu Chauhan at Raj Bhavan Shillong on Thursday.
During the meetings, the discussions were centred on bolstering bilateral ties between India and Australia, with the focus on cultural exchange, agriculture, education, trade and investment.
Both parties expressed eagerness to deepen cooperation, highlighting their shared values of multiculturalism and democracy.
