As per the latest TRAI report, Reliance Jio emerged as a frontrunner in the North East region, showcasing impressive growth by adding 28,294 new mobile subscribers in January 2024. Whereas, its closest competitor, Airtel, witnessed a decline, losing 2379 subscribers in the region during the same period.
This regional achievement is indicative of a broader trend on the national stage, where Reliance Jio has firmly established its dominance. Nationally, Jio boasts a remarkable addition of 41.78 lakh new subscribers in January, significantly outpacing Airtel’s increase of 752,853 subscribers.
