Assam Rifles organized a security coordination meet and interaction program at Sendra village, Bishnupur District, on 1st July 2024. The event, attended by village authorities and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) from seven villages, focused on addressing security challenges, fostering cooperation between locals and security forces, and appreciating public support in maintaining peace and stability. Participants were also educated on monsoon precautions, encouraged to pursue education and sports, and motivated towards societal development. The villagers expressed gratitude for the Assam Rifles’ initiative and pledged to maintain peace in cooperation with security forces.
On the same day, Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the Pallel Area Baptist Church organization, assisted in organizing the closing ceremony of a week-long Summer Camp. The camp aimed at the holistic development of local children through educational, recreational, and spiritual activities. The presence of Assam Rifles highlighted their commitment to community engagement and support. Their logistical assistance ensured a smooth and memorable conclusion to the camp, which was warmly appreciated by attendees and contributed to the event’s overall success.
ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISED A FRIENDLY FOOTBALL MATCH WITH YOUTHS IN CHURACHANDPUR DISTRICT
With the aim to channelize the youth and motivate them, Assam Rifles organized a friendly football match with Creative Vision Football Academy, Churachandpur district, Manipur on 30 June 2024.
The football aficionados of the area gathered in large numbers to watch the much anticipated match which made the event a resounding success. The event concluded with felicitation ceremony of the winners and a pledge to promote harmony and peace in the region. The local populace appreciated the importance of sports in fostering discipline, teamwork and a competitive spirit among the youths.
ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISED MOTIVATION CAMPAIGN AT SORDE VILLAGE, KAMJONG DISTRICT
Assam Rifles organised a Motivation Campaign for Recruitment of local youth to Security Forces at Sorde village in Kamjong district of Manipur on 01 July 2024, which witnessed an enthusiastic participation of 46 youths.
The event started with a warm reception and welcome note by the officials of Assam Rifles. The attendees were briefed about the various opportunities available in the Armed Forces and were also explained about the qualifications required for those. The students and the village authorities had expressed their appreciation towards Assam Rifles for orgainsing such a meaningful and relevant activity for local youth and promised to extend their wholehearted support to the Security Forces.
