Assam Rifles undertook significant humanitarian initiatives to support Internally Displaced Personnel (IDPs) in relief camps at Oksongbung and Tronglaobi in Sendra Village, Bishnupur District. Assam Rifles distributed storage water tanks, basic hygiene & sanitation items to a total of 150 villagers.
In another incident, Assam Rifles provided urgent medical assistance to Mrs. Liatneilhing, a 34-year-old resident of Santing village, Churachandpur District, who suffered a snake bite on her right leg while working in the fields. The medical staff promptly administered essential care stabilizing her condition. Mrs. Liatneilhing is now on the road to recovery.
