Acting on specific intelligence of presence of arms and ammunition in general area Awang Potshangbam, Imphal West District, Manipur, Assam Rifles and Manipur Police launched an operation on 26 August 2024 and apprehended six active cadres of Kanglaipak Yowal Kan Lup (KYKL) and recovered ammunition and war like stores. The apprehended cadres and recovered items have been handed over to Manipur Police.

The apprehended cadre has been handed over to the Manipur Police.
