New Delhi 23 December 2021: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will address the Members of the Assam Legislative Assembly in Guwahati on 24 December 2021. On this occasion, Shri Birla will also officially launch the Assam Legislative Digital TV in the Central Hall of the Assam Legislative Assembly.
Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma; Hon’ble Speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly, Shri Biswajit Daimary; Hon’ble Leader of Opposition of Assam Legislative Assembly Debabrata Saikia, Ministers, MLAs and other dignitaries will grace the occasion.
Birla will also preside over the Pratidin Achievers Awards at the Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, Guwahati. Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma; Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Chowna Mein; and Chairman Pratidin Group Jayanta Baruah will be present on the occasion.
He will return to New Delhi the same day.
