During this Durga Puja, NCC cadets of West Bengal and Sikkim Dte have been diligently performing duties of crowd control while also assisting the elderly & infirm at various pandals, traffic signals, and railway stations across Kolkata. The disciplined & smartly turned out cadets were of great assistance to the Kolkata Police & civil administration in overall mgt of the huge crowds thronging the pandals 24×7. While the locals immersed in the festivities, over 4000 volunteer cadets provided voluntary service, making it easy for devotees to safely visit pandals without any difficulties.
Their dedication and hard work during the event truly reflect their commitment to the social service. Their contribution drew praises from all sections of civil society & the civil administration.
