“OMICRON variant of SARSCOV2 has been detected in an international passenger who is comming from Tanzania to Manipur.
The 48 year old patient is admitted in JNIMS.
According to the reports, his sample was found to be infected with the Omicron strain on Monday.
India has reported 578 Omicron cases as per the Union health ministry. Total 151 patients have been discharge.
