Day 7 of Combined Annual Training Camp J10 was marked by a series of motivational and educational sessions that left cadets both inspired and informed. The day began with a powerful motivational session led by Major Sachin, a former NCC cadet whose exemplary career and achievements have become the benchmark for aspirants.
Major Sachin, a true embodiment of discipline and excellence, captivated the cadets with stories of his transformative journey through the NCC, where he accomplished feats like Republic Day Camp, Youth Exchange Program (YEP), and being awarded Best Cadet. Addressing the cadets, Major Sachin spoke with passion about the values of discipline, service to the motherland, and the unwavering spirit required to excel in the armed forces. His journey from a cadet to an officer is as a testament to what self-belief can accomplish. Emphasizing the importance of staying grounded and returning to one’s roots to uplift the community, he ignited a spark of ambition in the cadets. Following the rousing interaction with Major Sachin, the cadets were treated to an enlightening session by Dr. Ashish Suri who delved into the captivating world of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Dr. Suri’s lecture explored the dual nature of AI, emphasizing how it can be a boon or a bane for today’s youth. He highlighted practical ways for the young minds to harness the power of AI positively, advocating its application in fields like medicine, education, and technology innovation. However, Dr. Suri also issued a cautionary note, educating the cadets on the darker side of AI. He detailed various fraudulent schemes that have been facilitated by advancements in AI, raising awareness about potential dangers and emphasizing the need for vigilance. The session was filled with real-world examples and interactive discussions, ensuring that the cadets understood the significance of responsible AI usage and how to protect themselves from emerging digital threats.The day concluded with an atmosphere of enlightenment and renewed determination, as cadets reflected on the guidance received.
