ASSAM RIFLES BRINGS WARMTH AND HOPE TO CHILDREN OF EMA FOUNDATION ON THE WEEK LONG OBSERVANCE OF CHILDREN’S DAY IN IMPHAL WEST DISTRICT OF MANIPUR

In a heartwarming gesture of care and compassion, the Assam Rifles as part of the week long celebration of Children’s Day with the children of Ema Foundation in Imphal West District, Manipur on 16 November. Understanding the challenges faced by the orphanage, the Assam Rifles extended support by distributing winter clothing and shoes to all the children, thereby ensuring their comfort during the harsh winter months.

Ema Foundation is an orphanage, situated in Keithalmanbi, a sensitive area between the Imphal Valley and Kangpokpi District, is a beacon of harmony and resilience. The foundation provides a safe haven for 18 children.

In a display of solidarity, all 18 children from the Ema Foundation are being sponsored by the Assam Rifles and are receiving their education at the Assam Rifles Public School in Keithalmanbi. This initiative underscores the Assam Rifles’ unwavering commitment to nurturing the future of Manipur’s youth, regardless of their background.

The humanitarian efforts of the Assam Rifles reflect their earnest desire to heal, restore, and uplift communities in distress. By promptly addressing the pressing needs of Ema Foundation, they have not only provided essential resources but also brought a sense of hope and normalcy to these children during a time of turmoil.
