The Mega Medical Camp successfully extended free medical consultations and treatments to 1,115 individuals, including 305 men, 330 women, and 480 children from Moreh and nearby villages. The services provided encompassed general check-ups, pediatric care, and specialist consultations, ensuring comprehensive healthcare coverage for attendees.

A dedicated team of doctors from the Indian Medical Association participated in the camp, bringing their expertise to ensure quality healthcare delivery. ASSAM RIFLES COMMEMORATES CONSTITUTION DAY WITH EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES

In observance of Constitution Day on November 26, 2024, the Assam Rifles organized a series of educational initiatives aimed at celebrating the adoption of the Indian Constitution and reinforcing its significance in contemporary society. The Constitution, adopted on November 26, 1949, stands as a testament to India’s democratic spirit and visionary leadership, blending indigenous values with global principles.

The Assam Rifles commemorated this important day with a special event for youth attending a Skill Development course at Sanjeevani, Imphal West. This gathering not only celebrated the Constitution’s adoption but also reaffirmed the core values of democracy, equality, and justice that underpin the Republic of India. A lecture delivered by an Assam Rifles officer highlighted the Constitution’s vital role in governance, the rule of law, and social justice. Participants were reminded of their responsibilities in upholding these ideals, with particular emphasis on the Assam Rifles’ commitment to safeguarding the nation’s unity and integrity.

The event saw participation from 100 enthusiastic youth, enhancing their awareness of fundamental rights, duties, and the importance of civic engagement. This initiative fostered a deeper connection to the principles enshrined in the Constitution and encouraged active participation in democratic processes.

Simultaneously, the Assam Rifles organized an awareness lecture at H Mongjang Village in Tengnoupal District to further raise consciousness about the significance of the Constitution. This session attracted 85 villagers, including 18 men, 20 women, and 47 children. The lecture emphasized the Constitution’s glorious history and transformative features, such as fundamental rights and duties, while encouraging community members to embrace its principles in their daily lives.

Through these initiatives, the Assam Rifles reaffirmed its dedication to fostering unity, responsible citizenship, and knowledge empowerment. By promoting awareness about the Constitution’s ideals, these programs play a crucial role in strengthening the democratic fabric of our nation.

ASSAM RIFLES LAUNCHES PRE-RECRUITMENT TRAINING TO EMPOWER LOCAL YOUTH IN MANIPUR

In a dedicated effort to empower local youth, the Assam Rifles is launching a Pre-Recruitment Training capsule for aspirants from Ukhrul and Kamjong Districts at Shangshak village, Manipur. This initiative aims to prepare participants for careers in security forces.

Recently, 26 individuals who completed prior training attended a recruitment rally, with 15 passing physical tests and 11 clearing medical exams. These successful candidates will now receive coaching for the upcoming written examination in January 2025.

Participants will benefit from free study materials, meals, and accommodation, enhancing their prospects for success. Local youth have expressed gratitude for this initiative, pledging support for future endeavors with the Assam Rifles.
