HUMANITY WITH SECURITY, BSF PREPARING BORDER YOUTHS FOR PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY PHASE OF SSC/GD EXAM

Border Security Force committed to prevent border crimes like drug smuggling, cattle smuggling, human trafficking, illegal infiltration etc as well as stand in every happy and difficult times with border residents. Even under the ongoing Civic Action Program, by distributing more and more items and medicines to the needy people, the jawans have shown that they stand with the border residents in every difficult times. In order to encourage youth towards sports, BSF keeps on distributing sports items and organizing sports competitions from time to time on Border.

Another such commendable step has been taken by the 35 Battalion under South Bengal Frontier of BSF deployed in District Murshidabad.

35 Battalion is preparing border students for physical efficiency phase of SSC Constable Competitive Examination

People living on the border often lack money, good schools and good guidance, consequently in general children are lagging behind in comparison to the rest of the children who are inhabiting in urban areas. Keeping this in mind, the jawans of BSF’s 35 Battalion Border Out Post Kanapara had made proper arrangements for coaching them in the Border Out Post itself to handle the future of these students. Accordingly, program has been made for these students from written examination till their selection. These students were given coaching classes of Mathematics, Reasoning, English and Computer. Apart from this, emphasis is also laid on the moral values ​​of these students.

The written examination of these students has been taken by the Staff Selection Commission. Now after some time the physical efficiency test will be taken by the commission, in which the students will have to pass the physical test according to the physical parameters of the Paramilitary Force. Preparation for physical training is being given at Border Out Post Kanapara, 35 Battalion of Border Security Force, posted in Murshidabad Distt. Around 113 students were present to prepare for the physical training in which 13 girls are included with 100 boys.

Written examination was held in November, now there will be physical efficiency test.

Staff Selection Commission has already completed the first phase (written examination) of CAPFs. It is also necessary to pass the physical test for the final selection in this exam. This includes running, high jump, long jump etc.

The Public Relations Officer of BSF stated that BSF is making every effort for the bright future of the border residents youths. In this sequence, BSF first prepared the youth for the written examination. After the completion of the written examination, now the preparation for physical efficiency is being done by BSF. The enthusiasm of the youth towards this is worth seeing.
