Acting on specific intelligence of movement of narcotics in general area Ngur, Champhai, Assam Rifles and Excise and Narcotics Department launched an Area Domination Patrol on Ngur-Bulfek road on 31 January 2025 .
The team apprehended three suspected individuals and while conducting thorough search recovered Methaphatmine Tablets weighing 3.33 kilograms. The apprehended individuals and the recovered contraband have been handed over to Excise and Narcotics Department.
