Not only is it performing the duty of border security, BSF has always been involved in social work. BSF, BSF Border Security Force, is guarding the borders of India day and night. BSF is always working tirelessly to keep the India-Bangladesh and India-Pakistan borders secure. But in between, BSF is also doing social work for the society at different times. Today, it distributed sports equipment among the border villagers through the Civic Action Program.
The Border Security Force always provides medical services, sports, computer education to the citizens of the border area, assistance to farmers in agricultural work, and distributes cold drinking water filters and portable toilets to educational institutions. On Wednesday, the Border Security Force’s 14th Battalion organized a cricket camp for 251 people in Balabhut Char on the border, including a complete set of cricket balls, bats, stumps, footballs, volleyballs and nets, badminton bats, cocks and nets, physical exercise equipment, and carom boards. Battalion Commandant Kaushalesh Roy was present at the brief ceremony. Commandant Kaushalesh Roy handed over the sports equipment to the villagers and four clubs and said that everyone needs to play sports. Mental development requires health development. Playing sports keeps the body healthy. The villagers appreciated the BSF for this cooperation. Villagers said that BSF has always been cooperating with the border residents. Because of BSF, the people of the border villages are living in peace. On that day, everyone including BSF Battalion 14 Commandant Kaushalesh Roy, Deputy Commandant Yas Pal Singh Chauhan, village head, members, members of various clubs and BSF were present. On that day, a volleyball tournament was organized among the villagers through the Civic Action Program. Commandant Kaushalesh Roy inaugurated the volleyball game.
