Acting on a specific intelligence of presence of ammunitions, in Lawngtlai Town, district Lawngtlai, Assam Rifles and Mizoram Police launched a joint operation on February 27, 2025, apprehended two individuals and recovered ammunition.
In another intelligence based joint operation launched in general area Saiha, Mizoram, resulted in apprehension of one individual with a 22mm Air Carbine and ammunition.
The apprehended individuals and the recovered items have been handed over to Mizoram Police.
