INDIA SHUT DOWN AIRSPACE FOR PAKISTAN

 

In response to the PahalgamTerror Attack, India closes its airspace to Pakistani airlines till May 23.

On Wednesday, the Government said, days after its nuclear-armed neighbour banned Indian airlines from flying over its territory following the killing of 26 men in an attack on tourists in Kashmir.

The ban will continue from April 30 to May 23, the Indian government said in a notice.

It covers all aircraft registered, operated, owned, or leased by Pakistani entities, including military aircraft.

A new NOTAM (G0510/25) has been issued restricting Indian airspace access for all Pakistan-registered aircraft, as well as those operated, owned, or leased by Pakistani airlines or operators, including military flights. The restriction applies across major Indian FIRs (VIDF, VABF, VECF, VOMF) from ground level to unlimited altitude, and is in effect from 30 April 2025 at 18:30 UTC to 23 May 2025 at 23:59 UTC (estimated).
